Willkommen!

Welcome!

Would you like to work in non-profit, social, cultural or environmental areas while getting to know Germany or another country in a new and exciting way? Would you like to live and spend time with people from all over the world?
If so, you have come to the right place.
Choose from a variety of projects and workcamps here. Then just register and go.

The Workcamps

The various projects at the workcamps run for two or more weeks in many parts of the world. Normally 8 to 15 participants get together in each camp. The aims of the workcamps are for you to work using your own resources and in your chosen area; get to know the world a little better and raise awareness of problems in society. In exchange for accommodation and meals you could work in building or social projects, take part in protecting the environmental or set up an art scheme.

Getting there and back

All participants will need to pay for and make their own travel arrangements and organize a visa (if you are going to an African country, for example).
It is important to prepare for your stay so that you can make the best of your time abroad. Please inform yourself about vaccination requirements – especially to a tropical region.
Once your workcamp has been confirmed we will send you more detailed travel information.
Please contact us if you need help with organizing your journey. We would be happy to help.

Accomodation and meals

… are  provided and you will stay in a hostel, a school building or a campsite. Participants usually make their own meals at the workcamps. In some countries, especially in third world countries, you will be asked to pay a lump sum for meals and accommodation. Details of this are in the information about the workcamp.

Insurance

Please organize the insurance that you need yourself. Health insurance is especially important when travelling abroad.

Work and free time

You would usually work 30 hours per week. Free time activities weill be organized together with other people at the workcamp.
